Enjoy 10 days of festive browsing as the Barbican Christmas Market returns for a second year at the Barbican Centre. Pick-up unique gifts and vintage and designer pieces as well as exploring the stalls from local food traders and exhibitors; tucking into the usual festive fare such as mince pies and mulled wine.
Tenu, Finnish Winter Pop-up | Now until 31st Dec
No doubt it’s a controversial decision but this Soho pop-up which launched last week is serving reindeer to its guests. Not seen to be an endangered source of meat in Scandinavia, they feel quite comfortable serving it amongst a host of other Nordic winter specialities. You’ll find a hostt of fish on the menu and the drinks list has some classic Helsinki botanical gins as well as natural wines. Dishes should be shared between a few. Read more here.

Well if you’re missing the upper lip frost, Coors Light, have opened their very own alpine lodge with ice bar so you can challenge yourself to sit in -5 degree temperatures.
