‘Made in Hackney’, the pioneering eco-kitchen company are hosting another guest chef to run a class in their kitchen. If you have the time to spare midday, famous youtube chef Alexis Gabriel Ainouz which features on Jamie Oliver’s youtube channel will be hosting a class on making great preservatives that make the most of the abudent harvest season and doesn’t let food waste happen over the winter months. Cabbages & Frocks Christmas Market, Marylebone | Wed 12th Nov

The usual Saturday Marylebone market has moved to a Wednesday for a one off. A nice midday treat which will be extra specially decorated in the Christmas theme with reindeer and Santa’s Grotto. Always an amazing spread of vendors and food stalls to enjoy, just be sure to keep warm with a big coat and plenty of mulled wine. More details here.

 

New Pop-Up: The Happy Coconut at Brixton Cornercopia | Thu 13th – Sat 16th Nov

Chefs Yohini Nandakumar & Terry Blake will be hosting a three day pop-up Malaysian restaurant at Brixton Cornercopia in Brixton Village. Unlike many things usually on the site, the restaurant won’t have a fixed menu and is likely to be busy so will be taking bookings. Ring ahead to get your spot at the pop-up this week.
